Italian meatloaf

This is actually a German dish! If you want a spicier dish add cheese cubes.

500 g minced meat (beef, pork or beef and pork)
1 day-old French roll (white bread roll)
1 small onion
1–2 cloves of garlic
100 g dried tomatoes in oil
1 tbs capers
1 egg
salt, pepper and Tuscany spice (alt. chilli)
olive oil
breadcrumbs

Serve with

Mixed salad and bread

Put the minced meat in a bowl. Put the bread in a bowl with a little water and allow to sand a few minutes. Squeeze out the water and put in the bowl together with the meat. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Dice the tomatoes and finely chop the capers. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl. Grease the food holder with olive oil and dust with breadcrumbs – this makes it easier to clean! Put the meat mix in the food holder and gratinate on a low heat for approx 35 minutes. Turn up the heat and continue to gratinate for approx. 10 minutes.
