The oven on the stovetop – Omnia® Classic

A practical, portable solution for anyone who doesn’t have an oven or simply wants to use an oven outside. Omnia® offers easy-to-use, well-proven ovens that don’t have their own heat source. The heat comes from a stove or other heat source. On the stovetop you can bake, cook and heat just like in a traditional oven. The ability to bake bread for breakfast and cook various hot food is much appreciated by our users.

A bread that stands out! 😍 Two-Tone Twisted Omnia Bread 

Basic dough:
• 400 g wheat flour (type 405 or 550) 
• 1 tsp salt 
• 1 tsp sugar 
• ½ cube fresh yeast (or 1 packet dry yeast) 
• 250 ml lukewarm water 
• 1 tbsp oil

For the red dough:
• 3–4 tbsp beetroot purée 
• Optional: 1–2 tbsp flour
For the orange dough:
• 1–2 tsp turmeric 
• 1–2 tbsp water

👉Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the lukewarm water and let sit for about 5–10 minutes. Mix with the 
flour, salt, and oil and knead into a smooth dough. 
👉Cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes, until 
doubled in size.
👉Divide the dough into two equal parts. Knead the beetroot purée into one half, adding a little flour if 
needed to prevent stickiness. Knead turmeric mixed with a bit of water into the other half. Both 
doughs should have a similar consistency.
👉Let both doughs rest again for 20–30 minutes. Then shape each into 1–2 thick strands and loosely 
twist them together without rolling them out flat.
👉Place the twisted dough as a ring or spiral into the Omnia pan and let rise for another 10–15 
minutes.
👉Bake in the Omnia oven over low to medium heat for about 45–55 minutes. After around 30 
minutes, rotate the Omnia if needed to ensure even baking.

Smoked Turkey & Pork Cold Cuts in the Omnia oven 
300 g pork tenderloin
300 g turkey breast
Salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder
Wood chips (Preferably apple/cherry) 

👉 Place the wood chips (approx. 2 tbsp) in the SmokeCup, cover with water, and let soak for 
about 30 minutes.
👉 Mix 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp smoked paprika and 1 tsp garlic powder.
👉 Remove the silver skin from the pork tenderloin.
👉 Shape the turkey breast into an even piece.
👉 Coat the meat evenly with the spice mixture and place it on the perforated baking rack in the Omnia.
👉 Drain the wood chips and insert the Smoke cup into the opening of the Omnia.
👉 Smoke on high heat for about 30 minutes
Enjoy a warm day with slice on bread or potatoes.

Smokey Shrimp & Salmon 
400 g king prawns
250 g fresh salmon
Wood chips (preferably Alder) 
Omnia accessories: Smoke Cup & Upper oven rack

👉 Place the wood chips (approx. 2 tbsp) in the SmokeCup, cover with water and let soak for about 30 minutes.
👉 Cut the salmon into large cubes, season with salt, and place on the perforated baking rack in 
the Omnia.
👉 Insert the upper rack, peel the shrimp if needed, pat dry, season with salt and spread evenly on the rack.
👉 Drain the wood chips and place the Smoke Cup in the middle hole of the stove on high heat for about 1 minute until the chips start to smoke.
👉 Caution: Risk of burns – insert the hot Smoke cup into the Omnia and place the Omnia on the stove.
Smoke on high heat for about 20 minutes
