Il forno da fornello – Omnia® Classic

Una soluzione pratica e portatile per chi non ha un forno o semplicemente vuole utilizzarlo all’aperto. Omnia® offre forni collaudati e facili da usare che non dispongono di una fonte di calore propria. Il calore proviene da un fornello o da un’altra fonte di calore. Ti basta un fornello per cuocere, arrostire e riscaldare proprio come in un forno tradizionale. I nostri utenti apprezzano molto la possibilità di cuocere il pane per la colazione e cucinare vari piatti caldi.

🍓 Strawberry Muffins 🍓 

250 g strawberries 
80 g sunflower oil 
2 eggs
200 g yogurt
100 g sugar
200 g flour
1 packet baking powder
1 packet vanilla pudding powder
Pinch of salt
Optional : zest of one lemon and some lemon juice

Instructions:
➡️ Wash, trim and dice the strawberries.
➡️ In a bowl, mix flour, pudding powder, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest.
➡️ In a mixing jug, combine oil, yogurt, eggs, lemon juice, and sugar until smooth.
➡️ Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
➡️ Gently fold in the strawberries and divide the batter into muffin molds (makes about 12 muffins).
➡️ Bake the muffins for 25 minutes at medium heat.

Did you know? 👀 All types of gratin turn out great in the Omnia® oven. Many even say that potato gratin tastes better in the Omnia® than in a regular oven. This goes for ready-made gratin too.

🔥 Cauliflower and Potato Gratin Recipe 🔥 

1/4 head of cauliflower
1 carrot
2 small onions
3 potatoes (approx. 300 g) 
3 eggs
150 ml heavy cream 
1 ball of mozzarella

➡️ Cut the potatoes into small pieces (quarter baby potatoes, or cut larger ones accordingly), season with salt, and spread them evenly in the Omnia pan.
➡️ Peel the carrot, cut it in half lengthwise, then chop into small pieces and add to the potatoes. Finely chop the onions and add them to the Omnia as well.
➡️ Divide the cauliflower into small florets and add them on top of the vegetables. 
➡️Whisk the eggs, mix in the cream, and pour the mixture over the vegetables. Tear the mozzarella into small pieces and distribute it evenly on top.
➡️ Bake on low heat for 1 hour and 45 minutes. 

Pro-tip ! 👨‍🍳
You can also pre-cook all vegetables in salted water before placing them in the Omnia. This shortens the baking time but causes the vegetables to release a lot of water during baking, which can make the casserole soggy.

🍅 Confit Tomatoes and Feta with Marinated Chicken Skewers 🍅 RECIPE 

Ingredients:
	•	Cherry tomatoes
	•	Feta cheese
	•	Garlic
	•	Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary)
	•	Chicken
	•	Lemon
	•	Olive oil
	•	Salt and pepper
	•	Pasta (optional)

➡️ Toss a splash of olive oil, gently cook the cherry tomatoes and garlic with the herbs over low heat for about 25 minutes, until the tomatoes begin to soften and burst.
➡️ Add the feta, cut into cubes, and let the mixture simmer for another 10 minutes until creamy and well combined.
➡️ While the tomato mixture is cooking, marinate the chicken with lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper.
➡️ Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
➡️ Put the upper oven rack on and lay the skewers on top.
➡️ Roast everything together for around 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
➡️ Remove the skewers and set them aside.
➡️ Add the cooked pasta to the tomato and feta sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
➡️ Add the chicken to the dish and mix gently until everything is well combined and heated through.
