De oven op de kookplaat – Omnia® Classic

Een praktische, draagbare oplossing voor iedereen die geen oven heeft of lekker buiten wil koken. Omnia® biedt gebruiksvriendelijke, alom bewezen ovens die geen eigen warmtebron hebben. De warmte komt van een fornuis of een andere warmtebron. Zo kun je op de kookplaat op dezelfde manier bakken, koken en verwarmen als bij een traditionele oven. De mogelijkheid brood te bakken voor het ontbijt en verschillende warme gerechten te bereiden wordt alom gewaardeerd.

Meat stuffed zucchini rolls in Tomato Sauce 🧑‍🍳

1 zucchini
250 g mixed ground meat (beef and pork) 
100 g feta cheese
1/2 onion
1 egg
200 g sieved (or pureed) tomatoes

➡️Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thin strips.
➡️Blanch the strips in boiling, lightly salted water for 2 minutes, then drain.
➡️In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the crumbled feta, finely diced onion, and the egg.
Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika.
➡️Place about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture on a thicker zucchini strip (or on two thinner strips laid side by side) and roll it up.
➡️Place the zucchini meat rolls in the Omnia pan and pour the sieved tomatoes evenly over them.
➡️Cook for 10 minutes on high heat, then for 20 minutes on low heat.

Perfect for warm summer days

INGREDIENTS

Cheesy Nacho Chips
	•	15 nacho chips
	•	100 ml taco sauce
	•	50 g flavorful shredded cheese

Chorizo in Cider
	•	200 g fresh chorizo
	•	100 ml dry cider

Spanish Peppers
	•	1 garlic clove
	•	½ red chili
	•	1.5 tbsp olive oil
	•	1 pinch salt
	•	1 pinch black pepper
	•	100 g pimientos de Padrón (small green peppers)

Spicy Shrimp
	•	1 garlic clove
	•	½ red chili
	•	1 tbsp lemon juice
	•	100 ml olive oil
	•	1 pinch salt
	•	1 pinch black pepper
	•	150 g peeled shrimp

To serve:
	•	1 tsp smoked paprika
	•	50 g grated Parmesan cheese

Sides:
Bread, finely chopped parsley, and lemon wedges

INSTRUCTIONS ➡️

Place the silicone molds inside the Omnia baking mold (6-piece divided silicone molds).

Cheesy Nacho Chips:
Layer nacho chips, shredded cheese, and taco sauce in one of the silicone molds.

Chorizo in Cider:
Remove the casing from the chorizo and cut the filling into smaller pieces. Place it in one of the silicone molds and pour the cider over it.

Spanish Peppers:
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Deseed and finely chop the chili. Mix garlic, chili, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the peppers and mix well. Place the peppers in one of the silicone molds.

Spicy Shrimp:
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Deseed and finely chop the chili. Mix garlic, chili, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the shrimp and mix well. Place the shrimp in one of the silicone molds.

Serve the tapas with bread, parsley, and lemon.

Use the oven tray when you want to be sure your food stays in place and nothing sticks. A ceramic non-stick coating prevents food from sticking, making both cooking and cleaning easier. Small holes ensure nothing falls through while allowing even heat distribution.

🍓 Strawberry Muffins 🍓 

250 g strawberries 
80 g sunflower oil 
2 eggs
200 g yogurt
100 g sugar
200 g flour
1 packet baking powder
1 packet vanilla pudding powder
Pinch of salt
Optional : zest of one lemon and some lemon juice

Instructions:
➡️ Wash, trim and dice the strawberries.
➡️ In a bowl, mix flour, pudding powder, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest.
➡️ In a mixing jug, combine oil, yogurt, eggs, lemon juice, and sugar until smooth.
➡️ Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
➡️ Gently fold in the strawberries and divide the batter into muffin molds (makes about 12 muffins).
➡️ Bake the muffins for 25 minutes at medium heat.

Did you know? 👀 All types of gratin turn out great in the Omnia® oven. Many even say that potato gratin tastes better in the Omnia® than in a regular oven. This goes for ready-made gratin too.

🔥 Cauliflower and Potato Gratin Recipe 🔥 

1/4 head of cauliflower
1 carrot
2 small onions
3 potatoes (approx. 300 g) 
3 eggs
150 ml heavy cream 
1 ball of mozzarella

➡️ Cut the potatoes into small pieces (quarter baby potatoes, or cut larger ones accordingly), season with salt, and spread them evenly in the Omnia pan.
➡️ Peel the carrot, cut it in half lengthwise, then chop into small pieces and add to the potatoes. Finely chop the onions and add them to the Omnia as well.
➡️ Divide the cauliflower into small florets and add them on top of the vegetables. 
➡️Whisk the eggs, mix in the cream, and pour the mixture over the vegetables. Tear the mozzarella into small pieces and distribute it evenly on top.
➡️ Bake on low heat for 1 hour and 45 minutes. 

Pro-tip ! 👨‍🍳
You can also pre-cook all vegetables in salted water before placing them in the Omnia. This shortens the baking time but causes the vegetables to release a lot of water during baking, which can make the casserole soggy.
