De oven op de kookplaat – Omnia® Classic

Een praktische, draagbare oplossing voor iedereen die geen oven heeft of lekker buiten wil koken. Omnia® biedt gebruiksvriendelijke, alom bewezen ovens die geen eigen warmtebron hebben. De warmte komt van een fornuis of een andere warmtebron. Zo kun je op de kookplaat op dezelfde manier bakken, koken en verwarmen als bij een traditionele oven. De mogelijkheid brood te bakken voor het ontbijt en verschillende warme gerechten te bereiden wordt alom gewaardeerd.

Goat Cheese Pie with tomato & thyme

Serves: 4

Time: approx. 50 minutes


Ingredients

1 portion of pie dough (see basic recipe, p. 89)

4 yellow onions

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp + 1 pinch salt

2 pinches freshly ground black pepper

100 g goat cheese

250 g tomatoes

4 eggs

300 ml milk

Oil (for sautéing and greasing the Omnia pan)


Instructions

👉 Prepare the base

👉 Grease the Omnia pan and press the dough into the form.

👉 Peel the onions and cut into strips. Sauté them in oil until lightly browned.

👉 Season with thyme, 1 tsp salt and pepper.

👉 Add filling

👉 Spread the onions evenly over the dough.

👉 Crumble the goat cheese on top.

👉 Slice the tomatoes and arrange them over the pie.

👉 Egg mixture & baking

👉 Whisk eggs, milk, and 1 pinch of salt together.

👉 Pour the mixture over the pie.

👉 Bake on low heat for about 40 minutes, until the egg mixture is set and the pie is lightly browned
