Ground beef muffins

Ingredients

½ cup (50 g) breadcrumbs
⅔ cups (150 ml) milk
2 cloves garlic
18 oz (500 g) ground beef
2 eggs
½ cup (100 ml) BBQ sauce
1 tsp salt
2 pinches freshly ground black pepper

Oil for muffin tin

Method

  1. Brush the muffin tin with oil and place in the Omnia mold.
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl and leave to swell for about 5 minutes. Add the ground beef, egg, BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper. Peel and crush the garlic. Work everything together into an even, smooth batter.
  3. Shape the batter into 6 balls. Place in the muffin tin and press down. Cook on the lowest heat for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave covered for around 5 minutes.

Serving suggestions: mashed potatoes and BBQ sauce or butter-fried chanterelle mushrooms.
