Baking pizza in your Omnia is easy and convenient. Use a ready-made pizza kit with rectangular dough and sauce. Stuff with your favourite fillings. Be careful with the heat - if it is too high, the bottom can burn easily.
1 pizza kit (dough and sauce)
450 g grated cheese
200 g chopped smoked ham
Olive oil
Oregano
Our recipes are based on being prepared in an Omnia® Classic Original 2L. Omnia® Classic Maxi 3L is 50 percent larger. Therefore, in most recipes, you can increase the amount by half to double the batch. Start by increasing by half a batch only for recipes where the ingredients will rise in the pan during cooking. The cooking times are the same.
Unroll the dough and roll or stretch it until it is about 30 x 45 cm.
Spread the sauce over the dough, cover with ham and cheese and sprinkle oregano on top.
Fold, long sides together, and pinch the edges together to seal all the way around.
Place the pizza in the Omnia Pan, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with a bit more oregano.
Bake at medium heat for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
Let stand for 10-15 minutes before serving.
